Children’s Ministry
– led by Michele May
The children’s ministry provides a variety of programs in which both children and their families can participate. Whether we come together to learn Bible stories, pray, sing, participate in and assist in worship, donate food or other items for those in need, learn about the seasons of the church year, do a craft project, play games, or have snacks, we come together so that children can experience and grow in God’s grace.
I want each child to know that he or she is loved and is a special creation of God, made for a unique purpose. I want children to be excited about coming to church, about experiencing the stories in the Bible, about hearing the stories of our faith, and about growing in their own faith. I want them to be excited about giving to and helping other people. I want them to be excited about telling others the Good News.
The children of Tuckston sang about the good news of Jesus’ birth at Georgia Square Mall in December. In the midst of busy shoppers, our children reminded people what Christmas is really about.
“For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.” Ephesians 2:10
